General Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Queens & Kids Talk ("Platform", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account, accessing, or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Platform.
2. About Queens & Kids Talk
Queens & Kids Talk is an online educational marketplace that connects students, parents, and female English tutors for live online lessons.
Queens & Kids Talk is not an educational institution and does not employ tutors. Tutors provide educational services independently through the Platform.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parents or legal guardians may create accounts and book lessons for children under 18. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. Student Accounts
Students agree to provide accurate information, keep login credentials confidential, respect tutors, attend lessons on time, and use the Platform only for lawful purposes. Parents are responsible for supervising children using the Platform.
5. Tutor Accounts
Tutors agree that they work as independent contractors, are responsible for their qualifications and teaching methods, provide accurate profile information, maintain a professional learning environment, and comply with all Platform policies. Queens & Kids Talk may review tutor profiles before approval.
6. Lesson Booking
Lessons are booked through the Platform. Students are responsible for selecting their preferred tutor, duration, and available time. Bookings become confirmed only after successful payment.
7. Online Lessons
Lessons are conducted through Google Meet or another platform selected by Queens & Kids Talk. Students and tutors are responsible for a stable internet connection, working microphone and camera, and suitable environment. We are not responsible for technical issues beyond our reasonable control.
8. Payments
Payments are processed through approved providers such as PayPal. We do not store full payment card information. Students may be charged an additional service fee on top of the lesson fee. This service fee will be clearly itemized and displayed before the student completes payment.
9. Tutor Payments
Tutors receive 70% of the lesson price. Queens & Kids Talk retains a 30% platform commission for providing marketplace, booking, payment processing, and support services. Tutors are responsible for any fees charged by payment or transfer providers for transferring their earnings, according to their country and selected payment method. The minimum payout amount is $50 USD, and earnings below this threshold will accumulate until the minimum is reached. Schedules may vary by payment method.
10. Cancellations and Refunds
Requests are governed by the Platform's Refund & Cancellation Policy, which students should review before booking. If a Tutor cancels during the final 24 hours or is absent from a lesson, the Student will receive wallet credit equal to the lesson value. The Student may use that credit to book another lesson with any Tutor they choose at an available time that suits them.
11. Community Standards
Users must not harass or abuse others, share offensive, illegal, or harmful content, discriminate, arrange payments outside Queens & Kids Talk, or misrepresent identity or qualifications. Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination.
12. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, including logos, trademarks, graphics, text, software, and website design, belongs to Queens & Kids Talk unless otherwise stated. It may not be reproduced, distributed, or modified without written permission.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Limitation of Liability
Queens & Kids Talk acts solely as an intermediary connecting tutors and students. We do not guarantee learning outcomes, examination results, employment opportunities, or language proficiency improvements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or our policies.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Queens & Kids Talk operates, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Tutor Agreement
1. Independent Contractor
The Tutor provides services as an independent contractor and is not an employee, partner, or agent of the Platform. The Tutor is responsible for all applicable taxes and legal obligations.
2. Services
The Tutor agrees to provide professional online English language lessons through the Platform, maintain high teaching standards, and comply with all Platform policies.
3. Tutor Responsibilities
The Tutor agrees to:
- Provide accurate profile information and qualifications.
- Conduct lessons professionally and on time.
- Maintain respectful communication with students.
- Protect student privacy and confidential information.
- Follow all Platform rules and quality standards.
4. Lesson Booking
All lesson bookings, scheduling, communication, and payments must be completed exclusively through the Platform.
The Tutor shall not request or accept direct payments from Platform students or encourage students to continue lessons outside the Platform.
5. Trial Lesson
The Platform may offer a one-time introductory trial lesson for new students with a Tutor.
The trial lesson shall have a duration of 25 minutes and shall be offered to the Student with a 20% discount from the Tutor's regular lesson price.
The Tutor agrees that the trial lesson will be compensated based on the actual amount paid by the Student, after deduction of the Platform's agreed service commission.
6. Payments and Revenue Sharing
Students pay the Platform directly for all lessons booked through the Platform.
Tutors receive 70% of the lesson price. Queens & Kids Talk retains a 30% platform commission for providing marketplace, booking, payment processing, and support services.
Tutor Payment Method
Tutors will receive payment for completed lessons on a weekly basis through Queens Kids Talk. Payments will be calculated based on completed and confirmed lessons after deducting the Platform commission and any applicable transaction fees.
The Tutor is responsible for any fees charged by payment or transfer providers for transferring their earnings, according to their country and selected payment method.
The minimum payout amount is $50 USD. Earnings below this threshold will remain in the Tutor's balance and accumulate until the minimum payout amount is reached.
Tutors must provide accurate payment details. Direct payments from students outside the Platform are not permitted.
The Tutor acknowledges and agrees that the Platform's commission percentage may be updated in the future upon prior notice to the Tutor.
7. Cancellation Policy
Either party may cancel or reschedule a lesson without penalty if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.
If a Student cancels less than 24 hours before the lesson, the lesson may be considered completed and the Tutor may receive payment according to the Platform policy.
If a Tutor cancels less than 24 hours before the lesson, the lesson price shall be credited to the Student's wallet for use toward another lesson with any Tutor and available time the Student chooses. The Platform may issue warnings or apply account restrictions for repeated violations.
8. No-Show Policy
A Student or Tutor who fails to join the lesson within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior notice shall be considered a No-Show.
Student No-Show
- Lesson marked as completed.
- Tutor receives payment.
- No refund unless approved by the Platform.
Tutor No-Show
- The Student receives wallet credit equal to the value of the missed lesson and may use it to book another lesson with any Tutor they choose at an available time that suits them.
- Tutor receives no payment for the missed lesson.
- Repeated violations may result in warnings, reduced visibility, suspension, or account termination.
9. Technical Problems
Where a lesson is interrupted due to verified technical issues beyond either party's reasonable control, the Platform may determine whether the lesson will be rescheduled, refunded, partially credited, or considered completed.
10. Confidentiality
The Tutor shall keep all student information and Platform business information confidential during and after this Agreement.
11. Intellectual Property
The Tutor retains ownership of independently created teaching materials.
The Platform may use the Tutor's public profile, ratings, lesson descriptions, and promotional content for marketing purposes.
12. Quality Standards
The Platform may monitor lesson quality through student ratings, complaints, attendance records, and performance indicators.
13. Platform Authority
The Platform reserves the sole right to investigate and resolve disputes relating to attendance, payments, cancellations, lesson quality, technical issues, or violations of this Agreement.
The Platform's decision shall be final.
14. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement.
The Platform may immediately suspend or terminate the Tutor's account in cases including, but not limited to:
- Fraud or dishonest conduct.
- Repeated cancellations or No-Shows.
- Receiving payments outside the Platform.
- Contacting Platform students for private lessons.
- Serious misconduct or violation of Platform policies.
15. Electronic Acceptance
By clicking “I Agree” during registration, the Tutor confirms that they:
- Have read and understood this Agreement.
- Agree to be legally bound by its terms.
Student Agreement
1. Eligibility
The Student confirms that all registration information provided is accurate and complete.
Students under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Platform Services
The Platform provides access to online English language lessons with independent tutors.
The Platform is not the employer of any Tutor.
3. Student Responsibilities
The Student agrees to:
- Provide accurate account information.
- Attend lessons on time.
- Behave respectfully toward Tutors and other users.
- Maintain a suitable internet connection and learning environment.
- Follow all Platform policies.
4. Booking Lessons
All lesson bookings, cancellations, rescheduling, communication, and payments must be completed through the Platform.
The Student shall not arrange private lessons or make direct payments to Tutors outside the Platform.
5. Payments
All lesson fees shall be paid through the Platform using the available payment methods.
The Student may be charged an additional platform service fee. This fee will be clearly itemized and displayed before payment is completed.
The Platform reserves the right to update prices, promotions, and subscription plans.
6. Cancellation Policy
The Student may cancel or reschedule a lesson free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.
If the Student cancels less than 24 hours before the lesson, the lesson may be considered completed and no refund will be issued unless otherwise approved by the Platform.
If the Tutor cancels during the final 24 hours before the lesson, the lesson price is credited to the Student's wallet for another lesson with any Tutor and available time the Student chooses.
7. Student No-Show
A Student who fails to join the lesson within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior notice shall be considered a No-Show.
The lesson will be marked as completed and no refund shall be issued unless the Platform determines otherwise.
8. Tutor No-Show
If the Tutor fails to attend the lesson, the Student will receive wallet credit equal to the value of the missed lesson. The Student may use that credit to book another lesson with any Tutor they choose at an available time that suits them.
9. Technical Issues
If technical issues beyond the reasonable control of either party interrupt the lesson, the Platform may determine whether the lesson should be rescheduled, refunded, partially credited, or considered completed.
10. Code of Conduct
The Student agrees not to:
- Use offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language.
- Record lessons without permission.
- Share Platform content unlawfully.
- Harass Tutors or other users.
Violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of the Student's account.
11. Privacy
The Platform will process personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
The Student agrees not to disclose confidential information obtained through the Platform.
12. Platform Authority
The Platform reserves the exclusive right to investigate and resolve disputes relating to lessons, attendance, payments, technical issues, or violations of this Agreement.
The Platform's decision shall be final.
13. Termination
The Platform may suspend or permanently terminate the Student's account in cases including:
- Fraudulent activity.
- Abuse of Tutors or Platform staff.
- Attempting to bypass the Platform payment system.
- Repeated violations of Platform policies.
14. Electronic Acceptance
By clicking “I Agree”, the Student / Parents confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this Agreement, and that electronic acceptance has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
